About the Test
Check for the presence of chlamydia and gonorrhea, two of the most common sexually transmitted infections. People with chlamydia and gonorrhea may not have signs and symptoms. If you’re sexually active, it’s important to screen for STDs. Left untreated, sexually transmitted infections (STI) can cause medical complications. Testing is the only way to know for sure if you have a sexually transmitted infection.
