Each test kit includes the following materials:

• Plastic cups for collecting your semen sample
• YO slides for sample testing
• Vials of liquefaction powder (to make your samples ‘runny’)
• Plastic pipettes for transferring the sample to the slide
• YO Device

There are very specific instructions you should follow to collect and test your sample, which are listed on the instructions for use provided in the kit. Some things to remember before you begin the sample collection process include:

• Collect your sample by masturbation, directly into the sample collection cup provided in your YO kit
• Do not use condoms, lubricants or partners or this could affect results
• At least 1/8 teaspoon (less than 1 milliliter) of semen is required for testing
• Your sample can only 'sit' for one hour maximum so it's best to test right away
• Do not heat, cool or place your sample in the refrigerator – just let it rest
• Collect your sample when YO advises you and follow the instructions for testing right after collection
• For optimal results, do not have any sexual intercourse 2-5 days before YO testing
• Sample testing and sperm motility: Once you collect your sample, begin YO testing because your sample motility may decline after 1 hour. After you place the liquefaction powder into your sample as directed in the app, wait the 10 minutes as instructed but don’t wait any longer than 30 minutes or your sperm motility may decline
